HipMax Privacy Policy

HipMax is designed to keep your personal fitness information private and on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what information the HipMax app handles, how it is used, and the choices you have.

1. Information HipMax Handles

HipMax may store the following information that you choose to enter or create in the app:

• Onboarding answers, such as fitness goal, workout experience, obstacle, accomplishment goal, gender, trainer status, and where you heard about the app.
• Body and fitness information, such as height, weight, desired weight, birth date, workout level, daily task progress, streaks, and completed exercises.
• Progress logs, such as dates, weight entries, bloating scores, notes, and selected progress photos.
• App preferences, such as unit preference, reminder settings, and onboarding completion state.
• Subscription status, such as whether an active premium subscription is available through Apple StoreKit.

HipMax does not require an account.

2. How Information Is Stored

HipMax stores app data locally on your device using local files in the app's private storage area. Progress photos selected by you are saved locally on your device as compressed image files.

HipMax does not operate its own server for user accounts, analytics, advertising, or cloud syncing.

Your device settings may cause app data to be included in Apple device backups or iCloud backups. Those backups are controlled by Apple and your device settings.

3. How Information Is Used

HipMax uses your information only to provide app features, including:

• Creating and adapting your daily workout plan.
• Tracking streaks, task completion, progress logs, weight entries, bloating scores, notes, and photos.
• Showing progress insights inside the app.
• Remembering your preferences.
• Scheduling optional local reminders.
• Unlocking premium features when Apple reports an active subscription.

HipMax does not sell your personal information.

HipMax does not use your information for third-party advertising.

HipMax does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

4. Photos

If you choose to add progress photos, HipMax uses the iOS photo picker so you can select images from your photo library. HipMax stores copies of selected photos locally inside the app's private storage. HipMax does not upload progress photos to a HipMax server.

You can delete progress photos by deleting the related progress entry or resetting app progress.

5. Notifications

HipMax may ask for permission to send notifications. Notifications are used for reminders, such as daily task reminders or trial-ending reminders. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings at any time.

6. Purchases And Subscriptions

HipMax subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Apple handles payment information, billing, refunds, and subscription management. HipMax does not receive or store your credit card or other payment card details.

HipMax may read subscription entitlement status from StoreKit so it can unlock premium app features.

For subscription management, cancellation, refunds, and billing settings, use your Apple ID subscription settings.

7. Sharing And Disclosure

HipMax does not share your app data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers.

Because HipMax does not operate its own account server, we do not have access to your locally stored workout logs, notes, body information, or progress photos.

Information may be handled by Apple when you use Apple services, such as App Store purchases, StoreKit, iCloud backup, device backup, or iOS notifications. Apple's handling of that information is governed by Apple's privacy policies and your Apple account settings.

8. Data Retention And Deletion

HipMax keeps app data on your device until you delete it.

You can delete data by:

• Deleting individual progress entries or photos where the app provides that option.
• Using the app's reset progress option.
• Deleting the HipMax app from your device.

If your device backup includes HipMax data, deleting local app data may not automatically remove older backup copies controlled by Apple. You can manage backups in your Apple device or iCloud settings.

9. Health And Fitness Information

HipMax may store fitness and body-related information that you enter, such as height, weight, desired weight, workout progress, and bloating scores. This information is used only to personalize and display app features on your device.

HipMax is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. If you have medical concerns, are pregnant or postpartum, have an injury, or have a health condition, consult a qualified healthcare professional before using any fitness program.

10. Children

HipMax is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information in the app, delete the app data from the device or contact us.

11. Security

HipMax uses Apple's app sandbox and local device storage protections. No method of storage is completely secure, so you should also protect your device with a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and current system updates.

12. Your Choices

You can:

• Choose what information to enter.
• Choose whether to add progress photos.
• Turn notifications on or off in iOS Settings.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID settings.
• Reset progress or delete the app to remove local app data.

13. Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify users through the app or App Store listing.
